National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) (www.nfcc.org) consists of over 100 member agencies and more than 900 local offices throughout the country. The NFCC is located at 801 Roeder Road, Suite 900, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Most NFCC members are known as Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS). The National Foundation for Credit Counseling provides counseling and education services for more than one million each year through its member agencies. NFCC member agencies provide the following services: debt management plans, counseling services, budgeting counseling, education, financial literacy counseling, and housing counseling. The NFCC is highly recognized within the credit counseling industry and by creditors for its trademarked Counselor Certification Program.
